May 19, 1951 Altoona Mirror: MRS. LIDA F. GOTTSHALL of 336 Mosser St., died at her home Friday at 9:15 P.M. after an extended illness.

Mrs. Gottshall was born at Lock Haven, June 5, 1872, a daughter of John and Margaret (Aiken) Barnhart. She was married to Harry E. Gottshall April 21, 1895, who died Sept. 29, 1916.

Surviving are these children: John S., Clarence G., Mrs. Mary Hart and Mrs. Eleanor L. Davis, all of Altoona; Mrs. Elsie Keagy of Canton, Ohio; Mrs. Edna Fleming of Saltillo, Pa.; Mrs. Irene Gray, Edward R., Mrs. Myrtal Bayle of Altoona, 30 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Alice Dorries of Altoona; two brothers, John C. Barnhart of Altoona and William of Albany, N.Y. One son, Frank M. Gottshall, died Feb. 5, 1950.

She was a life long member of the First Baptist church and Sunday school.

Friends will be received at the Laughlin funeral home after 7 P.M. Saturday.
