Georgia grew up on the family farm in Petronila and attended Robstown High School where she met her future husband James Nead Davis. James talked her into marriage while she was attending college. She was a dedicated farmer’s wife, a wonderful mother to three sons, and devoted grandmother. She was known for preparing wonderful meals and entertaining family over holidays. Later in life she was a real estate agent. Georgia was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Corpus Christi for many years.
She is survived by her three sons, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A family burial will be followed by a memorial service at the Sawyer-George Funeral Home on Saturday, July 25, at 2:00 P.M. Published by Sawyer-George Funeral Home.
