TEDDY APPLEGATE
(1903-1986)
Teddy R. Applegate, 82, of Winchester, formerly of Garrison, Ky., died Friday at Adams County Hospital in West Union following a long illness.
A native of Epworth, Ky., he was a retired principal at Lewis County (Ky.) High School. A Lewis county teacher for many years, he was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University at Richmond.
Surviving are his wife, Lena Payne Applegate, and a sister, Edna G. Applegate of Mount Orab.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Monday at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg, Ky., with the Rev. Howard Wilson officiating, and interment in Lewis County Memory Gardens at Vanceburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
