Mr. Barlow was a member of the Jr. O. U. A. M., The remains' will be sent to the deceased's old home at Hibriten, about three miles from Lenoir.
Mr. Barlow was 25 years of age. He had lived in Asheville for three or four years and had won many friends by his companionable disposition. He was employed by the Asheville Electric Company as a lineman and had previously had a place on the Asheville & Biltmore as a motorman.
