MURDERED (by drowning) by their father, Kirk Douglas Billie. On April 19, 2001, (then age 32), a Miccosukee Indian, was sentenced to two life terms (concurrent). He was CONVICTED of SECOND DEGREE MURDER. Defence lawyers say that both the verdict and the sentence will be appealed. Prosecution was difficult as his own tribe had "forgiven" him and didn't want him prosecuted.
