Katrina Angelique Fernandez, 18, a retail clerk, of Las Vegas, passed away Friday, Nov. 26, 2004. She was born Aug. 15, 1986, in Albuquerque, N.M., and resided in Las Vegas for 15 years. Katrina was a very beautiful person and very outgoing. She touched the hearts of everyone that knew her and even those that didn't. Katrina is survived by her parents, Armando and Lisa; sister, Antoinette; brother, Armando (Hito); grandmothers, Tima Martinez and husband, Bampo, all of Las Vegas and Susan Eyster of Questa, N.M.; grandfather, David Romero of Kingman, Ariz.; great-grandparents, Eugene and Joyce Eyster of Los Alamos, N.M.; uncles, Daniel Romero of Las Vegas and Manuel of Costilla, N.M.; aunts, Janine Martinez (Nene) of Las Vegas, Sara McDaniel of Florida and Anna Maciar of California; godparents, Teresa Pena and Ernest Sandoval; and several cousins. She will be missed dearly. An account is being set up at Nevada State Bank for memorial donations.
