Husband of Auto Crash Victim Has Narrow Escape
Within three weeks after his wife, Mrs. Pascuala Schneider was fatally injured when struck by an automobile, Louis Schneider, 702 Potomac Street, barely escaped death Saturday night when his wagon was demolished in a collision with a machine just three blocks from the scene of the first accident. Mr. Schneider escaped with minor hurts.
His horse ran away after his wagon and the car operated by H. J. Stein 1033 Kayton Avenue, collided in the 300 block of North New Braunfels Ave.

Louis Schneider died very suddenly at San Antonio, where he had lived the last several years, last Sunday afternoon. Mr. Schneider was born at Fredericksburg in 1874; he attained the age of 52 years. His body was brought to Fredericksburg where it was laid to rest in the City cemetery, with the Rev. F. A. Bracher officiating. His wife having died several years ago, he is survived by his father, Mr. Jacob Schneider, two sisters, Emilie Schneider and Mrs. Louise Stuard, four brothers, Otto, Peter, Alfred and Alex Schneider and a number of other relatives.
