On 8 June 1865, Abram married Mary Elizabeth Warren and they had 3 sons, 2 of whom died in infancy. Elizabeth died in 1881.
Frank is next found in Nebraska where he married Mary Dawson in Dodge County on 25 April 1883. In 1885 they were living in Colfax County NE with an infant daughter, born within the year and Frank's 18 year old son, James.
By 1895 they have returned to Polk County, Iowa, then in 1900 they are found in Edmond City, Oklahoma. In 1910 they are in Ada, Idaho with their daughter, Ethel, her husband and 2 small daughters.
Frank died in Idaho as recorded on the Idaho Death Index. However, his son-in-law had some of his facts mixed up. His father is listed as Abraham Surber, but we know his name was Andrew. The actual death certificate says he is buried in the Kohlerlawn Cemetery, but they have no record for him.
