Last Wednesday two children of Mr. Sidney Orford of Delmar, one 17 and one 11 died of diphtheria. The five other members of the family are sick with the disease are convalescing.

Children are Bertha and Clara who died of the diphtheria, they are buried at the Wellsboro Cemetery, Mary, Mitchel, Harry A, Nellie and Samuel Brown Orford. Also in this cemetery are John E who was the son of Sydney & H.
Samuel Brown Orford died at Coudersport in 1968.
