He was born in Issaquah, Wash., moved to Corvallis in 1975 and to Brooks in 1979. He was assistant superintendent of the powerhouse for Simpson Timber Co. for 30 years, until his retirement in 1975. He was a member of the Community Baptist Church.
Survivors include wife, Vivian A.; daughter, Sharri Williams, Gresham; and sons, Leonard and Ronald, both of Bremerton, Wash.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Virgil T. Golden mortuary. Interment will be in Claggett Cemetery, Keizer.
Contributions may be made to the Community Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
