G. Gary Clark, 62, formerly of Syracuse , died at his home in Hope Mills, North Carolina. He was born and lived in Syracuse for many years before moving to Florida, then North Carolina. He was predeceased by his mother, Arlene, in 1992 and by his father, George, in 1994. Gary graduated from Eastwood High School and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was an architect and worked with many architectural firms in Syracuse , Florida and North Carolina. He took great pride in his work and had a deep love of the outdoors, water activities and boating.

Surviving are his daughter, Kimberly (Kirk) Cooper of Clifton, VA; granddaughters, Sidney, Dylan and Phoebe Cooper; a sister, Barbara (Charles) Kabot of Liverpool; a brother, Roger (Carolyn) Clark of Chittenango; his aunt, Irma Haney; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services are private. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at the convenience of his family.
