JOSEPH L. BRADFIELD
Joseph L. Bradfield, 82. died on August 18. 1989. at the Hovlid Community Care Center in Gridley as a result of a long illness.
He was a native of Independence, Kansas and was born on May 3. 1907. He had been a resident of Biggs where he was currently residing for 23 years, moving there from the San Fernando Valley.
During his lifetime, he had worked as a heavy equipment operator and was last employed by the Pacific Pipeline Co. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local No. 12.
He is survived by two nephews, Dan Gilmore of Oroville, and Jerry Joe Gilmore of Herald; a niece, Deanne Bostater of Newbury Park, and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.
Memorial services were held on Sunday, August 20, at 2 p.m. at the Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel. Interment was in the Gridley-Biggs Cemetery.
