A.L. Mack, aged 84 years, died at 9:30 today at his home at Helt's Prairie near Summit Grove. Mr. Mack had been in ill health for some time and had been gradually declining since the death of his wife a little over a year ago.
Mr. Mack was an old pioneer. He was born in the vicinity in which he spent his entire life. He is survived by 3 sons: Eschol Mack of Summit Grove, and Roy and Forest Mack, at home; and 4 daughters; Glen and Serene at home; Mrs. Harry Shields of Terre Haute; and Grace, who lives in Wyoming.
Funeral services will be held at the Salem Church with burial in the Salem Cemetery.
