He was born on April 20, 1923 in Fife, TX to Robert Lee and Nora Belle (Adams) Roberts.
On December 9, 1944 he married the love of his life, Novella Alyne Jackson, in Brady, TX.
Mr. Roberts was a stock farmer and cowboy rancher, working many long hours on their family place in Fife, Texas. He was a man of faith and a member of the Christian Community Church. Mr. Roberts enjoyed being outdoors, he had a love for farming, ranching, animals, and rodeos (especially calf roping). He cherished his family and made the most of every moment that he was able to spend with them. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Nora Roberts; eight siblings, Lilly Pearl Calk, Claude Roberts, Clara Smith, Julia Montgomery, Ray Kissinger, Forrest Cox Roberts, Lillian Fogle, and Phillip Morris Roberts.
