Elizabeth Castlebury wife of John Castlebury died of acute neuritis at the family residence, corner of Glenwood Avenue & Campbell Street yesterday morning. She had been in failing health for more than a year.
She was born Oct 15, 1829, the daughter of David & Catherine (Dietrich) Follmer in Loyalsock township. She married John Castlebury mar 4 1859. Mr. Castlebury died Feb 9 1907.
Mrs. Castlebury left 3 children Dr. A M Castlebury, Caroline wife of Dr. Charles E Keller & Dr. Frank F Castlebury. Also, she left 2 brothers Frank & John.
Mrs. Castlebury was a remarkable woman, bright & active. All her life she had been industrious aiding her husband in his business & devoted to her home & children.
