Kathleen Harris Bertschinger Leathers, from Surprise AZ, former Livingston, MT resident, passed away on July 2, 2006 at the age of 69 of cancer, at the home of her daughter Jodee Buckley, in Springfield, OR.
She was born August 30, 1936 in St. Paul MN to Dr. Williams & Orris Harris. She was raised in Livingston, MT. She married W.R. "Bud" Leathers in December 1958, later divorced. In June 2001, married Robert Bertschinger.
She retired from Huntington Memorial Hospital's Clinical Lab in Pasadena, CA in December 2001 and moved to Sun Village in Surprise, AZ.
She is survived by stepmother Lois Harris of Livingston, MT; son Joel Leathers and wife Toni of Claremont, CA; daughter Jodee Buckley of Springfield, OR; son Jeff Leathers and wife Janet of Marana, AZ; 7 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 1 granddaughter-in-law, 4 brothers and 1 sister, ex-husband, Bud Leathers.
She is preceded in death by daughter Janna Kay Leathers and husband Robert Bertschinger.
A grave side service and celebration of Kathleen's life will be held on August 8th, in Livingston MT.
