Growing up on the family farm, she moved to Cambridge Springs while she was a young lady and there she met her future husband, Gordon L. Flaugh, and they were married on July 2, 1935. He preceded her in death on March 1, 2009.
Autumn was a home maker and known for her pie baking. She considered her many friends as her own family conversing with them and reminiscing about the good old days. Autumn was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Cambridge Springs and seldom missed attending worship services there for more than 60 years. She was a member of the Golden Crown Chapter 44 of the Order of Eastern Star in Meadville and a former member of the auxiliary of the Cambridge Springs Nursing and Rehab Center. In 2013, Autumn received the gold headed cane in recognition that she was the oldest living Cambridge Springs Borough resident.
Preceding Autumn in death in addition to her husband and parents were her four siblings, Lucille Sybrant, Marie McFetridge, Georgia Herrick and James Willis. Surviving Autumn are her nieces, Betty Herrick of Meadville, Beverly Zarella of Erie, Joanne Shushu of Erie and Beatrice Donaldson of Cambridge Springs; and several great nieces and great nephews.
Interment will follow at Townley Cemetery, Richmond Township.
