Bryant and his wife, Laurie, of Vinemont, a daughter, Pamela Downing Bryant Owens of Falkville; four grandchildren, Mitchell Bryant Owens and his wife, Crystal, John Wesley Owens, David Owens and Drew Owens; and a sister, Ola Smithson.

Originally buried at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery south of Danville, but moved to McKendree to be re-buried next to his wife Lorene following her death in 2022.
