During World War II, Mr. Bryant served four years in the European Campaign primarily attached to the 346th Fighter Squadron of the 8th Army Air Force.
His parents, William "Bill" Bryant and Oma Brazill Bryant, preceded him in death.
Mr. Bryant is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lorene Dutton Bryant; a son, John S. Bryant and his wife, Laurie, of Vinemont, a daughter, Pamela Downing Bryant Owens of Falkville; four grandchildren, Mitchell Bryant Owens and his wife, Crystal, John Wesley Owens, David Owens and Drew Owens; and a sister, Ola Smithson.

Gravesite Details

Originally buried at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery south of Danville, but moved to McKendree to be re-buried next to his wife Lorene following her death in 2022.
