Robyn Ann, 23, of West Union, formerly of Sumner, died Friday, July 7, at her home of cancer.
She was born Dec. 1, 1982, in West Union, daughter of Wesley and Renea Blockhus Wood. She married Cory Meyer Sept. 24, 2004, in West Union.
She graduated from Sumner High School in 2001 and from the nursing program at N.I.C.C., Calmar, in 2003. She worked as an LPN at the Hillcrest Home, Sumner, and also raised show cattle.
Survived by: her husband; two daughters, Kasydi and Braelyn, both at home; her parents of Sumner; a sister, Wendy (Aric) Steffens of Clermont; maternal grandmother, Ann Blockhus of Clermont; and paternal grandmother, Madonna Wood of Sumner.
Preceded in death by: maternal grandfather, Gerald Blockhus; and paternal grandfather, Glen Wood.
