81-year-old resident of Lutheran Life Villages in Fort Wayne formerly from New Haven, BETTY J. CULBERTSON passed away on Friday. Born in Montpelier, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Seth and Eunice White. Betty was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven, Indiana. She is survived by a daughter from Newburgh, Indiana, and a son from Orlando, Florida; two granddaughters; her brother of Arlington, Texas; two nieces; and three nephews. Betty was pre-deceased by her husband of 58 years, Herbert "Dale" Culbertson in January 2011. A memorial service was conducted by Rev. Scott Zeckzeron on Wednesday, November 2, at Emanuel Lutheran Church. The family expressed a preference for memorials to the Emanuel Lutheran Church Food Bank. Arrangements were made by Harper Funeral Home.
