Julia Ann Rowell Dennler

This very special lady left this earth home in the presence of her loving family on Saturday, July 8, 2006, after a short but courageous battle with lung cancer.

Julia was born March 27, 1933, to Albert LaVanway Sr. and Edythe Rivers Brothers in Moretown, Vt. She was raised and attended school in Vermont.

Julia married the first time to William Rowell Sr. on April 23, 1951; he passed away on July 8, 1978.

She married Ernest C. Dennler on March 29, 1981, in Coeur d'Alene with family present. They farmed on Fix Ridge near Juliaetta until retirement a few years ago.

She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Eagles, and Elks clubs, all in Lewiston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, sisters, Floreal (Constance) Ruiz and Cathleen Dalley, and brother, Clarence (Sunny) LaVanway.

She will be missed by all who loved her, but know she is at peace now.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home in Lewiston. Burial will follow at the Fix Ridge Cemetery near Juliaetta.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
