Alta Skidmore Hardy Crockett McAdams, 95, of Superior, died of natural causes Monday, November 30 at the Mineral County Hospital in Superior.

She was born September 18, 1892 in Salt Lake City to Jesse W. and Elizabeth Skidmore Hardy. She spent her early years, from 1899 to 1908 in Canada, where her father assisted in building a canal at Sterling, Alberta. She was educated in Canada and Salt Lake City.

She married Bert E. Crockett on February 6, 1913 in Salt Lake City; their marriage later was solemnized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Temple in Salt Lake City. Her husband preceded her in death on May 11, 1965.

She married Clarence A. McAdams on March 20, 1968 in Elko, Nevada. She had lived in Superior the past 19 years.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in Primary organization for 40 years, also in Relief Society and taught Sunday school.

She made friends easily and had a wonderful sense of humor and positive attitude about life.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence of Superior; two sons, David H. Crockett and Albert H. Crockett, both of Salt Lake City; a stepson, Milton A. McAdams, Superior, two stepdaughters, Alma J. Mahe, Carson City, Nevada and Sara Marie Conn, Paradise Valley, Arizona and several grandchildren.

Graveside services were Friday in Salt Lake City.
