Sharon S. Andreas, 75, of Mitchell, died Sunday, November 4, 2012 at the Mitchell Care Center. Her Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Jolliffe Funeral Home in Scottsbluff, with Reverend Matt Fowler officiating. In keeping with her request, her remains were cremated.

Memorials in her name may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Her Book of Memories may be viewed online at www.jolliffefuneralhome.com where online condolences may be made and candles lit in Sharon’s memory.

Sharon was born May 8, 1937 in Mitchell, Nebraska to Elmer and Arlie (Lamont) Flood. She grew up in Mitchell and received her education there, graduating from Mitchell High School.

She married Fred L. Andreas December 23, 1956 in Scottsbluff. She worked for a short time for Asmus and Rychecky Real Estate and Auctions before raising her family. After her family was raised, she worked as head teller for Western National Bank in Scottsbluff and later as personal secretary to the President of Nile Valley Savings and Loan.

She loved doing crossword puzzles but her greatest loves were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Fred L. Andreas of Mitchell, her son Paul (Erin) Andreas of Johnstown, CO; her daughter Cristee (Jamie) McColloch of Oshkosh, NE and her grandchildren Justin Andreas, Melissa Baker, Tracie Laurent, Joshua Rocke, Jacob Rocke, Joseph McColloch, Hannah McColloch and Jacob McColloch and 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Arlys Freimuth of Lincoln, NE and her brother Arlynn Flood of Houston, TX.

Her parents and three sisters preceded her in death.
