An unusually sad death occurred Monday morning at 4:15 o'clock when Walter Schuler, residing on South Franklin Street, succumbed to cerebral hemorrhage, at the farm home of his parents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Reinhart, in Courtland Township. He had been afflicted with heart trouble since last Christmas. Deceased was not as yet 30 years of age, having been born in New Ulm, September 29, 1900. He was married in this city, June 24, 1924 to Miss Theresa Reinhart, who with one daughter Eunice Marie, survives him. Mr. Schuler also leaves his father, John Schuler, Sr. of New Ulm, as well as two brothers and one sister, namely, George Schuler of New Ulm; John Schuler, Jr. Pontiac, Mich. and Mrs. Emmet Hessian, Belle Plaine. Funeral services were conducted at St. Mary's Catholic Church here, Wednesday morning at 9o'clock. following which the remains were laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery. St. Patrick Council, K. of C., of which deceased was a member. attended the last rites, in a body.
