Dollie Jane "Nellie" Wells was born on August 18th, 1876 in New Boston, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, to Lewis Wells age 25, and Celestia Jane (Colby) Wells, age 36.

Dollie's first marriage took place in Conway, Mass. She married George McCullough, on October 6, 1896. Dollie, (or "Nellie") was aged 20, George was aged 21. It was the first marriage for both of them. George was born in 1875, in Boston, Mass., son of George McCullough and Mary (Darling) McCullough.

Dollie's second marriage was to Frank Manuel Munson, born in Moores Fork, NY, son of Henry Clay Munson and Phoebe Louise Joy. Frank Munson was a resident of Greenfield, MA, aged 27. Dollie and Frank's marriage took place in Brattleboro, VT, on May 17, 1898. At that time Dollie was a resident of Conway, MA, and aged 23.

Dollie's mother Celestia Jane (Colby) Wells passed away on September 7th, 1914, in Conway, MA, at the age of 74.

When Dollie became widowed by the death* of her second husband, Frank Manuel Munson, she went to live with her sister, Margaret Amelia "Margie" (Wells) Farmer (Mrs. George E. Farmer), in Turners Falls. She lived there for about ten years. Dollie became ill, and went to live at the home of her late sister Daisy. Daisy and Dolly had a relative through marriage named George Guyette, who helped around the house, to help care for Dollie, now an invalid. Dollie passed away on September 6th, 1958, at 12 G Street, Turners Falls, MA., a short time after coming to live there. At the time of her death, Dollie left two sons, Claude Henry Munson of Leominster and Thurston Wells Munson of Springfield; three brothers, Fred Wells of Jacksonville, Fla., John and Henry both of Conway; two sisters Mrs. Daisy Card of Shattuckville, and Mrs. Margaret Farmer of Turners Falls, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
