Steve Raffield, 40, departed this life on Sunday, July 12, 2015.

Steve was born on November 15, 1974 in Warner Robins, Georgia. A lifelong resident of Houston County, he was a graduate of Warner Robins High School. He received an Associate's Degree from Macon State College in Education and completed the Electronics Co-Op Program through Middle Georgia Technical College. He was employed as an Integrated Electronics Technician (Mechanic) at Robins Air Force Base. He was an avid fan of the University of Georgia Bulldogs, and loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR, as well. Steve was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Steve loved his family dearly, especially his unborn miracle baby and family kitties, Georgie, Coal, and Shadow.

His father, Willie "Albert" Raffield, and grandparents, AJ (Pawpaw) and Odell (Granny) Raffield, all preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of nine years, Nicole Michalak Raffield of Warner Robins; mother, Brenda Martin (Mike) of Bonaire; sister, Marinda Martin of Warner Robins; brothers, Sam Raffield of Valdosta and Spencer Raffield of Roberta; grandmother, Catherine Mullen of Tarkio, Missouri; father-in-law, Ed Michalak of Warner Robins; close special friends; and cousins, aunts, and uncles.

A Rosary Service will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral home with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m, also in the funeral home. The Funeral Mass celebrating Steve's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Following the services, Steve will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Steve Raffield to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street Suite A, Macon, Ga 31201, or Georgia ACTS, 114 Bromley Way, Warner Robins, Ga 31088.
