In 1904 she married Benjamin Oswald Allen, also from Kincardine Township. The young couple soon located to Fort William in Rainy River, Ontario, where Benjamin was a dealer in farm implements.
Their son, James, was born in 1907.
Sadly, Elizabeth became ill in 1926 with a bacterial infection and died within a few months. She was buried with her parents.
