Following the death of Louisa, Nathaniel James Skeen relocated and lived the remainder of his life in Washington County, Virginia
He married Florence Matilda Copenhaver on July 3, 1900 in Washington County, Virginia, and they had two sons, Brady Ray, who went by Ray, and Albert Barton
He passed away after a fall at his home, which fractured his humerus, and gangrene set in
N. J. Skeen and family, of Wise county, have moved to their new home, the farm formerly owned by T. W. White, situated about two miles Southwest of Abingdon. This is a good family of thrifty people and we bespeak for them a hearty welcome from the people of that community. --- Abingdon Virginian.
