Leslie Lewis Hopper, 72, of Covington, died Tuesday at his home. He was a retired machine operator for Lightning Corp., Richwood, and a member of American Legion Post No. 203, Latonia. He was an Army veteran. Survivors include a daughter, Theresa Cunningham of Covington; brothers, Orivel Hopper of Covington and Nathan Hopper of Lawrenceburg, Ind.; a sister, Rose Brewer of Walton; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at noon Friday at Eckler-Hudson Funeral Home, Dry Ridge. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
