Marriage - May 11, 1928 - "Doctor to Be Married, Wedding of Dr. Warren Eller and Miss Stevens, of Chicago, May 26 - Invitations are out for the marriage on Saturday evening, May 26, of Dr. Warren H. Eller and Miss Marguerite Stevens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas Stevens of Chicago. The marriage will take place in the Bryn Mawr Community Church in Chicago, and a reception will follow at the bride's home, 7729 Essex Avenue. Dr. and Mrs. Eller will be at home after August 1st in their new house on Greeley Avenue. Dr. Eller, whose former home was in Lincoln, Nebraska, is a graduate of Nebraska State College and served as an intern at the Long Island College Hospital Brooklyn. Dr. Eller is to leave Chicago next Thursday."
Obituary - Mrs. Marguerite Stevens Eller, of 21 Greeley Avenue, widow of Dr. Warren H. Eller, died suddenly at Meadowbrook Hospital, East Meadow, on Saturday. She had been in poor health for a long time but death was unexpected.
Mrs. Eller was born in Lincoln, Neb. 65 years ago and attended the University of Nebraska and the University of Chicago. She and Dr. Eller were married in 1929 and came to Sayville where Dr. Eller was already established in practice. She was active in community affairs including the South Side Auxiliary, the Sayville Garden Club, of which she was a past president, and the U.S.O. during World War II.
Dr. Eller died last September 30th, and she leaves a son, Dr. Richard Eller, of Johnstown, Pa.
She reposed at Raynor's Chapel until Tuesday afternoon when funeral services were held in St. Ann's Episcopal Church, Sayville, with the rector, the Rev. Joseph H. Bond, officiating. Interment was in St. Ann's Cemetery.
