Mrs. Groth died Friday at Coeur d'Alene Convalescent Center. She would have been 97 today.
She was born Sept. 5, 1887, in Menomonie, Wis., and married Walter Groth in 1919 at Waukegan, Ill. They came to Smelterville, Idaho, in 1928, moving the next year to Kingston, Idaho.
Survivors include two sons, Walter Groth of Kingston and Allen "Bud" Groth of Cataldo; one daughter, Julanne Robinson of Bend, Ore.; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
