Died.
Mr. Agenor J. Veazey, an old and well-known residents Lafayette died at his home yesterday morning at 9 o'clock, after a long and lingering illness.

Mr. Veazey was born in St. Martinville 52 year and 7 months ago. He came to Lafayette when a young man and lived here until the time of his death. Mr. Veazey was a good-hearted and very charitable man, who enjoyed the esteem of a large circle of friends and the love and respect of is family. He will be buried at 4 o'clock this evening in the Catholic Cemetery.
