Mid Oliver "Junior" Giles

Mid Oliver “Junior” Giles, 80, of Tallassee, died Saturday, July 11, 2015, at his home. Graveside services will be Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Friendship Cemetery at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. David Hooks officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 14, 2015, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Corbitt’s Funeral Home. Mr. Giles is survived by his sons Randy Giles of Montgomery and Brock Giles of New York; his brother Jerry Giles of Anniston; his grandchildren Brandon and Brittney Giles; his sisters-in-law Marlene Giles and Margaret Carter; his nieces Sheryl Baker and family, Claire Wallace and family and Lisa Flinn and family; and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings Olive Smith, J.M. Giles, Buck Giles, Terry Giles and Ann Miller, and his parents Mid and Emma Giles. The family would like to express appreciation to Robert Carter for all of his assistance over the years.
