Christine Westberg passed away on Monday, January 14, 2002 in Warren, Minnesota at the age of 80. Christine Skreland was born on January 7, 1922 in rural Oklee, Minnesota, the daughter of Osov and Anne (Heistad) Skreland. She was raised in rural Oklee and graduated from Oklee High School. Christine attended beauty school in Grand Forks, Northe Dakota. On June 27, 1947, she was united in marriage to Leverne Westberg at Warren. They made their home in Warren. She worked at the Good Samaritan Center for many years. Leverne died on July 11, 1996. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church. Left to mourn her passing are her son and daughter-in-law, Lowell and Ginny Westberg of Warren, MN; three grandchildren, Murry and fiancee, Aime Muir of Forest Grove, OR and Marshall and Mallory, both of Warren, MN; brother, Eivind Skreland of Plummer, MN; sister=in=law, Eleanor Westberg of Warren, MN and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; an infant son; son, David; sisters, infant sister, Mary, Mary Engebretson, Torbjor Skreland and Marie Hegland and brothers, Taaraal, Gunsten and Knute.
