Martha E. Cook was born February 2, 1885 and is the daughter of Dorethea Cook, nee Kruse. She was baptized at Cedar Rapids, April 21, 1889. Was confirmed in 1902 by the pastor Rev. Kostbahn, at the Lutheran church in Albion. She was a consistant member of the church, a regular attendant and a believer in the holy bible. She died in peace on the 18th of November in consequence of a burn received August 4th.
She leaves besides her parents, a sister Dora and brother Fred. Funeral was from the M. E. church Thursday 11 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Bosholm and the body interred in Rose Hill.
