Ralph E. Wallace, 47, of 2611 Tibbitt St. Alton, Ill., died at 7:10 p.m. Thursday at Alton Memorial Hospital after an illness of one year.

He is survived by his Mother, Margaret Wallace of Alton, one sister Peggy Adams of Zion, Ill., one brother Jack Wallace of Alton, Ill., and a half brother Harry McBride of Alton, Ill., also nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Ralph E. Wallace on September 11, 1953.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Staten Funeral Home where the rosary will be said at 9 p.m.

Services will be at noon Saturday, December 24, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

The family has designated the church building fund of St. Ambrose Catholic Church as a memorial.
