Arthur Jerry Albright, of Excelsior Springs, MO, died Tuesday at the Excelsior Springs City Hospital. He was 71.
Mr. Albright was born September 14, 1905 east of Lawson, MO, the son of Walter and Mary (Allnutt) Albright. He had lived in Excelsior Springs for 50 years.
Mr. Albright was a foreman at the Remington Arms Company, Lake City, for 23 years, before he retired in 1971.
He was a member of the Flack Memorial Christian Union Church.
Mr. Albright was married to Mildred Oren in 1923 at Chillicothe, MO.
He leaves his wife of the home; one brother, Roy Albright, of Lawson, MO; one niece and two nephews.
Services will be Thursday, at the church, with Rev. William Bowles officiating, assisted by the Rev. Wilbur Holman. Music will be by Mrs. Peggy Young, organist, and Mr. and Mrs. Bowles, vocalists. Burial will be in the Old Union Cemetery east of Lawson, MO.
Pallbearers will be Frank Stein, Okley Matthews, Alvin Walby, Walter Davenport, Don McGriffin and Lester Church. Arrangements by Prichard Funeral Home.
