Death of Mrs. E.B. Gault
Rebekah J. Gault, wife of E.B. Gault of this city died last night at their home on Mansfield at 12:30 o'clock. Mrs. Gault has been in poor health for a number of years and for the past eighteen months has been confined to her bed. The cause of he death was complication of diseases and infirmities of old age.

Mrs. Gault was born in Pennsylvania, October 10, 1844, and died May 3, 1918, age 73 years six months and 23 days.

In early childhood she united with the United Brethren Church and has lived a devoted Christian life, an inspiration to her husband and children and the many friends with who she came in contact.

Her patience and unselfishness during her continued illness doubly endeared her to her family and friends. Mrs. Gault always took an active part in all Christian work and when illness made it impossible for her to attend services, she kept in touch with the work through her husband.

Mrs. Gault moved with her husband to Winfield in the summer of 1874 and they have always made this their home.

Mrs. Gault is the mother of seven children, three of whom, one girl and two boys, died in infancy. The fours sons that survive her are Mark Gault and Roy Gault of Chicago, Preston Gault of El Dorado and Mahlon Gault of Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga.

The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at three o'clock from the United Brethren Church. The Rev. T.W. Perks will have charge of the services, assisted by the Rev. R.W. Gentry.
