Widow of Wm. J. Tidler Expires After Several Months Illness.
Mrs. Annie Maria Tidler widow of William J. Tidler, died at her home in New Market Monday morning at 8 o'clock, after an illness of several months from a complication of disease. Mrs. Tidler had been confined to her room all winter.
Before her marriage Mrs. Tidler was a Miss Shomo, a daughter of the late William Shomo, of New Market. She was born in that vicinity April 18, 1888, and had she lived until her approaching birthday would have been 69 years of age. Her husband died April 7, 1900.
Surviving her are six sons and two daughters. Three of these sons reside in Chicago - the remainder of the family in New Market.
The funeral was held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock from St. Matthew's Lutheran church of which she had been a faithful member for many years. The services were conducted by Rev. Dr. J. A. Snyder.
