-m-11-12-1894 2nd Nancy Baker. From this union, five children were born - Ruth, Laura, Pleasant -b-7-2-1899 -d-8-24-1963, Bessie, & Ance -b-3-6-1904 -d-2-4-1967.

Found his name spelled Alford, also. On the back side of the round stone, it has "3 yrs in Union Army". He served during the Civil War in Co D, 7th Ky Inf.

The tall stone is four-sided with both wives, all the children from both marriages, plus his mother, Betty "York" Wilson & father, Pleasant 1816-1846. All names have individual markers at other plots except his dad, Pleasant & son Daniel.

The following info provided by James Clark:
Al Wilson joined Capt, Clark's Company, 3rd, later designated 7th Infantry Regiment as a Private at age 22 on 3 Sep 1861 at Booneville, Kentucky. He was mustered in on 22 Sep 1861 at Camp Dick Robinson, Kentucky. He was AWOL on 15 Dec 1862 and rejoined his company on 25 Jan 1863. He was captured on 16 May 1863 at Edwards Depot, Mississippi and paroled on 18 May 1863. Al was mustered out at Louisville, Kenucky on 25 Jan 1864.
