Jessie E. "Jake" Perkins

Jessie E. Pennington Perkins age 77 of Bowling Green, died Saturday, July 4th at 6:51 pm at the Franklin Simpson Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Tompkinsville to the late Joseph Lee and Mertie Hampton Pennington.She is the widow of Jerry L. Perkins. She is also preceded in death by her Step mother, Dana Pennington, brothers, Fowler, Bill, Gloy, Ervin and Carlie Delbert Pennington, sisters, Pauline Bryant, Elsie Shelley, Minnie Chloe Pennington, Irene Pennington, Olene Pennington and JoAnn Pennington. She is retired from the Medical Center in Distribution. She was a member of Delafield Church of Christ.
She is survived by her brothers, Clurie "Red" Pennington and Fred Pennington both of Tompkinsville, a sister Betty Pennington Hammer of Tomkinsville. Daughter, Edith Adamson and her husband Joe, grandchildren, Cody Mooneyhan and husband Jeff and Joe Ray Adamson all of Woodburn, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many other relatives that loved her.
Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday and after 9:00 am Monday at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel. Funeral will be 1:00 pm Monday at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel, with burial in the Bowling Green Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel.
