TORONTO, Ohio — Dorothy M. Craig, 95, of Toronto passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2006, at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville.

Born June 3, 1911, in Salineville, Ohio, she is a daughter of the late Walter Goddard and Esther Goddard Goddard Bloomer.

She is a 1929, graduate of Toronto High School and was a homemaker. She is a 50-year member of the North River Avenue Christian Church in Toronto.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her stepfather, William J. Bloomer; her husband Charles E. "Chuck" Craig, whom she married Oct. 19, 1939, and who passed away on June 15, 2006; a sister, Mildred Cooper; and a grandson, David Cooper.

Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Linda Cooper and husband Leo of Toronto and Mrs. Barbara Ely and husband Edward of Weirton, W.Va.; two granddaughters, Ms. Susan Dunlap of Kirtland, Ohio and Mrs. Melissa Jenkins and husband Clifford of Weirton.; a grandson, Edward Scott Ely and wife Angela of Weirton; five great- grandchildren, Chelsea, Derek, Kyle, Madison and Zachary; and her sister, Margaret Davidson and husband Jack of Toronto.

Funeral services were held today at 11 a.m. at Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto with Pastor Robert E. Hanze officiating. Burial followed at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.

Memorial contributions in Dorothy's name may be made to either: Valley Hospice, 380 Summit Avenue, Steubenville, OH 43952 or to the North River Avenue Christian Church Choir Robe Fund, 207 North River Avenue, Toronto, OH 43964.
