CroswellNews has been received here of the death of Edward 0. Hyde, 82, former resident of Croswell. Mr. Hyde died unexpectedly Friday in the home of his daughter, Mrs. CIarence Franklin, Detroit.
He and Miss Myrtle Magary were married Feb. 9, 1898 in Croswell. She died in 1953. Mr. Hyde was a member of Joy Road Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Charles Hyde, Sandusky, and Walter, Farmington; four daughters, Mrs. Anker Erstad, Chicago; Mrs. William DeBell, Berkley, Mrs. Lawrence Mindeferind, Detroit, and Mrs. Franklin; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; a brother, Fred Hyde, Lexington, and a sister, Mrs. Etta Decker, Croswell.
Remains are in the William R. Hamilton funeral home, James Couzens highway and Seven Mile road in Detroit, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial services will be at 3p.m: Tuesday in the chapel at Croswell Cemetery.
