While in Lynn, she was active in the Ladies Fellowship of the former Boston Street Methodist-Episcopal Church.
During the early 1940s, Mrs Ireland was employed by the Riverworks Plant of General Electric in Lynn.
She leaves a son, John W Ireland of Medfield, a daughter, Betty Newman of Anchorage; a sister, Vada Seeman of Angola, Ind; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was the widow of Frank M. Ireland. A graveside funeral will be held tomorrow at 11 am in Beechbrook Cemetery in Gloucester.
