Hamburg (Iowa) Reporter, Thursday, August 18, 1927:
Miss Pauline Mumma, 21, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Mumma, passed away at their home in east Hamburg early Wednesday morning. Miss Mumma had been sick for some time and was but recently returned from a hospital in St. Joe, where she had been taken for medical examination and treatment.
The body was taken to Eagleville, Mo., Wednesday afternoon, where funeral services will be held and interment made. Mr. and Mrs. Mumma have the sympathy of their many friends here in their hour of sorrow.
