Services for Betsy Jean Adkinson, 83, of White Oak, Texas, will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 10, 2015, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater. Interment will be in the Old White Oak Cemetery in White Oak. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mrs. Adkinson passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in a Longview hospital.

Mrs. Adkinson was born to William Richard and Edna Evans Smith on January, 1, 1932, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a member of the Quilters Guild, the women's ministry of the Assembly of God Church and a member of the Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Ramona Hughes and Cyndi Brace both of White Oak; brother, Kenneth Smith of Longview; numerous nieces and nephews; seven grandchildren, Heather Borden, Lindsay Love, Chris Adkinson, Adam Brace, Laci Barnes, Cory Adkinson, and Jace Adkinson; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Adkinson was preceded in death by her son, Rickey Adkinson, parents, and three brothers, and five sisters.

Pallbearers will be Adam Brace, Dale Borden, Blake Weston, Cory Adkinson, Dwight Walden, and Shane Barnes.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Casen Borden and Seth Bulter.

Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater, Texas.
