Evelyn A. Slay, 90, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Wisteria Gardens in Pearl.
Visitation will be from 12pm - 2pm Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be at 2pm in the funeral home chapel with interment at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Slay is a member of McLaurin Heights United Methodist Church. She was a very giving person, always serving others. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Slay is preceded in death by her husband, Glen Slay.
She is survived by her son, Avery Slay (Lynn); daughters, Patty Roper (Richard) and Peggy Foggin (Roger); grandchildren, Matthew Williamson (Liesl), Cory Slay (Kristi), Justin Slay (Esther), and Beth Roper; and great-grandchildren, John Avery, Hadley, William, Sydney and Ruby Slay.
