Herman William Kyle, 90, of Owensboro, Kentucky died July 6, 2015 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born April 16, 1925 in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late William and Sarah Kyle. He retired as a line foreman for Owensboro Municipal Utilities and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Wesleyan Heights United Methodist Church and Owensboro Masonic Lodge #130. He was also a Rizpah Temple Shriner and a member of the Owensboro Clowns. As a van driver, he transported children to Shriners hospitals in Lexington, Cincinnati and St. Louis.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Evelyn Johnson Kyle; children, Shelia Kyle-Reno and Veronica Stallings (Richard); grandchildren, La Mer Kyle-Griffiths (Tom), Mason Stallings (Natassia) and Kyle Stallings; great grandchildren, Elena, Sakari and Tala Griffiths; and three nieces.

Services are 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Burial is in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Owensboro.
