Mrs. Eylens worked as a cook for 50 years at the Americus Restaurant.

Surviving are a daughter, Lillian Warthan (husband: David) of Lafayette; a son, David Eylens of Americus; a sister, Marie Austgen of Highland; a brother, Louis Muthig of Fowler; two stepdaughters, Cora Whitus and Barbara Williams, both of Lafayette; three grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
