Margaret C. Leisure Ross, 82, a lifelong Rush County resident passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at her home in Rushville. Margaret was born in Indianapolis on May 28, 1933 to the late Verle and Flora (Clevenger) Warfield.
Margaret married Marshall Ross in 1989 and he preceded her in death in 2009. She was a cook at Miller’s Drive In for 39 years. Margaret enjoyed sewing, quilting and cross-stitch.
Margaret is survived by a sister, Dorthea Bailey of Rushville; three grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband Marshall, Margaret was preceded in death by two sons, Theodore “Ted” Warfield and Larry Warfield; daughter, Diana K. Malone; six brothers; and one sister.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 10 at Rushville’s East Hill Cemetery. Pastor Bill Goodrich will preside.
